Training at Arbre

There are over a 100 career options in the Australian forestry industry. If you have any training needs Arbre can connect you with a relevant Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and also assist with access to funding/subsidies if available.

Community Engagement

Pre-employment Training

The FIVE+5 Pre-employment Program is a training Program developed to address the shortage of skilled labour. Participants will complete up to five nationally accredited units of competency. This Program is Australia wide. Click on the picture above for further information.

Supported by the Tasmanian Government the School Forestry Work Experience Program is a 3 day work experience Program, which has been developed to introduce Year 10 students to potential career paths within the forest industry. Click on the picture above for further information.

The Cadet Forester Program is an Australian School-based Apprenticeship for students in Year 10, 11 or 12 in Tasmania. Students will complete a Certificate II in Forest Operations, with a focus on becoming a Forester. Click on the picture above for further information.

The Next Generation Forestry Operators Program is an Australian School-based Apprenticeship for students in Year 10, 11 or 12 in Tasmania. Students will complete a Certificate II in Forest Operations, with a focus on Forestry Machine Operations. Click on the picture above for further information.
